It’s now OFFICIAL! The Avon Land Trust is receiving a grant for $4,000 from Avon Greater Together (AGT). AGT is like a subsidiary or satellite of the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving, but Hartford Foundation created town-specific boards that are closely attuned to the unique needs of each town. They have conducted two surveys in recent years, and have their ears to the ground, and run a tight ship. We are all on the side of angels — on the same team, pulling together to make the Avon community a better place to live for our children and grandchildren. THANKS AVON GREATER TOGETHER!
