Director Biography
Kimberly Marze
Director
A newcomer to Avon and to the land trust board, Kimberly lived in Cantn for 24 years before moving a few houses over the line to Avon. You can find her on sunny days working in her pollinator garden or walking the trails in the Farmington Valley. She grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area to a family of avid campers and has been to almost every National Park. She resides with her two lovely college-age daughters and husband.
Kimberly brings other non-profit experience to Avon Land Trust with her roles as past President of the Canton Friends for the Arts, Co-Chair of Lights on Canton fundraising campaign to bring stadium lights to the Canton Middle/High School athletic complex, Canton Greater Together Community Fund Board Member and most recently, Indivisible Farmington Valley. She (bizarrely) enjoys writing grant applications – a skill set she is actively sharing as our new resident grand writer!
Before having her girls, Kimberly was a Senior Manager at Deloitte Consulting in its Public Sector practice. Now, you can find her behind the circulation desk at Canton Public Library, always reading to help you find your next great read or take advantage of our wonderful library system.
